The Fulton girls varsity basketball team topped Homer in its regular season finale Feb. 11.
Fulton got off to a solid start, building an 11-point halftime lead. The Lady Raiders blew the game wide open during the second half. They outscored Homer 28-16 during the second half en route to a 51-28 win.
Fulton wasted little time getting in sync. The Lady Raiders held Homer to only two points during the first quarter while scoring 11 points.
Homer was far more competitive during the second quarter. Fulton outscored the Lady Trojans by only two points but extended its lead to 11 points at 23-12 at halftime. The Lady Raiders began to pull away during the third quarter. They outscored Homer by five points.
Fulton dashed any hope for a Homer rally during the fourth quarter. The Lady Raiders held Homer to only one point during the quarter while expanding their lead to cap off the 23-point win.
The Lady Raiders were led by Jessica Hudson and her 10 points. Taylor Duda and Christina Pensabene each finished with eight points.
