Helen Stuber, Retired LPN

OBITS-StuberHelen_WHelen Mae Stuber, 83, of Fulton, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.

Born in Fulton, she was a lifelong resident of the area.   She had retired from A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital as a LPN after several years.

She was a member of the Fulton Alliance Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and logged several thousand walking miles at Beaver Lake Nature Center. She enjoyed knitting and was happy to donate her crafts to children and the Special Care Nursery at St. Joseph’s.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Dean E. Stuber; and grandson, Lance Shannon.

She is survived by children, Mike Shannon, Michele (Brian) McCann, Ron (Kathy) Stuber, Deana (Steve) Ives; sister, Jeanne (Michael) Lalik; grandchildren, Michael P., Jason, David, Tom, Nick, Kelly, Melissa, Leigha, Brandi, Jonathan, Derek, Jada, Mariah and Isaiah; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A service was held at Fulton Alliance Church. There were no calling hours.

Contributions may be made to the church. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
