Nancy C. Grant, 78, formerly of Fulton and Syracuse, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Austin) Grant. She lived on the Florida coast near her beloved ocean for nearly 20 years before moving back to New York in 2008.
She served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1956 as a yeoman first class. She was an active and proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 35 years and spent many years helping others overcome their personal battles. She was a kind and very generous woman who was active in many social communities.
Surviving are her children, daughter, Lori J. Zonneville McCullough and son, Jeffrey A. (Melissa) Zonneville; grandchildren, Jason and Nicholas Montgomery, Brett McCullough, Dana Marie Zonneville Brown, Jerica, Jonathan and Peter Zonneville and Mindi and Sarah Combs; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
