Phena Pickard, Worked at Sealright

OBITS-PickardPhena_WPhena M. Pickard, 84, of Pennellville, died at her home Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.

She was born to her late parents, Lula (Shaver) and Maturin Hutchinson, July 9, 1928 in the Town of Orwell. A graduate of Altmar High School, she was a machine and packer operator for Sealright Co., Fulton. She was a member of the Phoenix Memorial Post 5540, VFW, auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Lee Pickard, who died Feb. 6, 2007; and two sisters, Charlotte E. Stevens and Ethel L. Staring. Surviving are many nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and nephews.

Services will be held today, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.

Calling hours are from noon to 2 p.m. today in the funeral home prior to the service.

Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
