The Fulton Bantam hockey team, sponsored by CVAC, RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting, the Blue Moon Grill and B&T Sports, earned its 20th win of the season with a 4-0 shutout over Rome.
The Raiders were also upset in a 3-1 loss to Lysander in weekend play.
On the road against Rome, the first period ended scoreless for both teams.
Fulton’s Evan Beckwith opened the second stanza with an upper corner shot, William Fruce assisting.
Later in the period, Cameron Clarke scored off a feed from Ethan Cimino.
Cimino made it a three-point game thanks to a passing play between Nate Shaw and Kameron Whipple.
Fruce scored the final goal of the game early in the third period with Beckwith and Seth Cooney assisting.
Raider goalie Evan Burdick stopped 10 shots to earn his eighth shutout this season.
Against Lysander, Raider Kameron Whipple netted his 10th goal of the season off a rebound from Cameron Clarke early in the first period.
Lysander’s Noah Koenig responded with the equalizer, David Eckmann assisting, before James Coomey notched the go-ahead goal off a rebound from Eckmann to close the second period.
Eckmann earned a playmaker for Lysander early in the third, assisting Coomey’s second goal of the game to seal a win over the Raiders.
Burdick made 14 saves in net for Fulton.
