She was born in Syracuse and she has been a Central New York for most of her life. Mrs. Cerklewich worked as the director of Oswego County Department of Social Services. She enjoyed hiking with her family and her golden retrievers and she was an avid reader.
Mrs. Cerklewich was pre-deceased by her father, William Johnson, who died Dec. 25, 2012.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Paul Cerklewich of Oswego; one daughter, Dr. Nicole Cerklewich of Binghamton; five siblings, Deborah Auricchio, Edward Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, Patrick Johnson, and Joseph Johnson; her mother, Arlene Johnson; godmother, Valerie Dlugosz; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 24 at St. Mary’s Church, Oswego where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. tonight, Jan. 23 at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th St., Oswego. Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
