The Fulton boys varsity basketball team recently endured one of the more challenging stretches of games it will face this season.
Jamesville-DeWitt got off to a solid start Jan. 8, which set the tone for a long night for Fulton. Indian River proved to be a little too much for the Red Raiders Jan. 12 and inconsistent play doomed Fulton during a Jan. 15 loss to Mexico.
In the 92-43 loss to Jamesville-DeWitt, Fulton was led by Seth Britton and Mark Pollock, who both scored eight points. Cody Green and Steven Henri followed them with six points each. Taylor Dudley chipped in five points and Dan Coant added three points. Tanner Gorton, Casey Ware, Jeremy Langdon and Cody Dick combined to score seven points.
In the 68-61 loss to Indian River, the Raiders were led by Green and his 18 points. Gorton finished with 15 points, Britton chipped in 10 points, and Dudley added eight points.
