CNY Arts Center plans second annual Snow Day

The CNY Arts Center Snow Day Committee is working hard to put details together for the second annual Snow Day to be held Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will be held at the center at 357 State St., Fulton.

CNY Arts Center will be bringing back some of last year’s popular games (ice fishing, pong toss, and the snowman bean bag toss), while some new games will be added.

There will also be face painting, free art and craft activities, an art gallery featuring local artists’ work, a writing workshop (organized by Writing Programming Coordinator and board member Jim Farfaglia), and a mystery guest will be there as well for the children.

“With the holidays now over, we know people are trying to relax and regroup, both mentally and financially,” said committee member Kiley Casper. “We hope that Snow Day will provide a day of affordable family friendly excitement that parents and children can both enjoy.” Carnival tickets will be available at the door.
