Members of the community may join the residents and staff at Bishop’s Commons for their annual holiday open house tomorrow, Dec. 9 from 1 to 3 p.m.

“This annual event allows an opportunity for our residents to invite family and friends and the public to a special holiday gathering where everyone can meet, mingle, enjoy great music and delicious foods, in a festive atmosphere,” said Senior Living Coordinator Julie Chetney.

This year’s event will include Paul Modafferi. The Syracuse native has been entertaining audiences across Central New York for over 40 years.

Known for his talents on the guitar, saxophone, and percussion, Modafferi’s repertoire includes a wide variety of songs from American Standards to country and pop favorites made famous by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash and Elvis.

He is currently working on the release of this first CD of original songs.

The show will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Grand Dining Room of Bishop’s Commons. Tours will be available of the residence throughout the afternoon.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
