Fulton tennis to lose seven seniors

by Rob Tetro

The Fulton girls varsity tennis team is losing seven players to graduation.

With the recent end of the 2012 season, Katelyn Billings, Jasmin Denson, Mikaela Houck, Haley Noel, Audrey Proto, Lacey Rusaw and Krista Vann took their final swings as Fulton varisty tennis players.

According to Coach Matt Goodnaugh, these seven seniors taught the younger players on the team the meaning of the words passion and dedication.

The seniors had a tremendous desire to learn about the sport while improving their skills in the process, the coach said.

Goodnaugh said he hopes that the seniors leave feeling like accomplished athletes who gained the belief that a connection exists between hard work and positive outcomes.
