He was born in Oswego Sept. 11, 1955 to Salvatore and Nina Giuffrida. He attended Catholic elementary and high schools in Fulton and Oswego.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Army where he met Sherrie Swanson, to whom he was wed Nov. 27, 1976. They lived together in a number of cities throughout the U.S. before settling in Dallas in 1991.
He retired from Tiger-Drylac Powder Coating in 2008 where he was senior sales manager for the Central US. He enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Giuffrida; his brother, Fred Giuffrida of San Francisco; three nieces; one nephew; and two grand-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. in Dallas, Texas at the Giuffrida home Saturday, Oct. 13. Another service will follow in the Fulton and Oswego area the following week at a place to be determined.
