Hannibal football battles back from deficit but falls 39-25

Trailing 39-0 shortly at halftime, the Hannibal football team battled back in the second half.

In the end, however, the Warriors were unable to complete the comeback, losing 39-25 win over Hannibal.

Bishop Ludden wasted little time lighting up the scoreboard. During the first quarter, Corey Wilkinson scored from three yards out. Later in the first quarter, Zach Harding threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Malik Stenson, which gave Bishop Ludden a 14-0 lead.

Before the first quarter ended, Bishop Ludden took a 20-0 lead when Harding threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Antoine Montgomery.

It was more of the same for Bishop Ludden during the second quarter.

Stenson caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from Harding to give Bishop Ludden a 27-0 lead. Before the first half ended, Bishop Ludden took a 33-0 lead when Harding threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Mike Pecoriello.
