Fulton Alliance Church’s vacation Bible school is cleared for takeoff!

“We will take flight and watch amazing things happen as kids encounter God like never before, all against the backdrop of some of the world’s most amazing natural wonders,” a church spokesperson said. “All children entering kindergarten through youth entering seventh grade are encouraged to attend this year’s free Vacation Bible School.”

The VBS will be held July 9-13 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration and seating will begin daily at 8:30 a.m. with Worship Rally taking off at 9 a.m.

Children will gather together in the Aviation Wonders Hangar for singing, contests and a morning message.  Parents may stay for Worship Rally.

“Following the rally, children move into small groups by grade level to encounter God’s awesome powers at six of the world’s most amazing natural wonders,” the spokesperson said. “They will have Bible study at Victoria Falls, see missions at work under the Northern Lights, learn music at the Matterhorn, create crafts at the Great Barrier Reef, work off some energy during recreation at the Grand Canyon and refuel with snacks at the Paricutin Volcano.”

Free lunch will be offered to all children from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Each day will feature a theme to involve the kids: Monday is Sunglasses Day, Tuesday is Bring a friend Day, Wednesday is Wacky Hair Day, Thursday is Mismatch Day, and Friday is Hat Day.

A musical performance by the children will be held Friday, July 13 at 6:30 p.m. as part of Family Night.

A women’s Bible study will also be offered immediately following the worship rally in the church’s Friendship Room. This will be a time of fellowship, study of God’s word and include a daily hand craft focusing on God’s wonders.

Childcare is available for those attending the Bible Study. All camp staff and childcare attendants are trained in “Safe Place Procedures” and a registered nurse is on hand at all times to ensure the safety of all the children.
