He was born in Sussex, N.J., the son of the late Phoebe and Albert Robbins. He had worked as a truck driver for Mid-Hudson Steele in Howell, N.Y. before retiring and moving to Pulaski, where he worked for Tony’s Salmon Country Sport Shop.
He was an avid sportsman, hunter, trapper and fisherman all his life.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Jane Decker Robbins, and his second wife, Sara Sperbeck Robbins.
He is survived by his daughter, Rose Robbins Sweeney of Port Jervis; two step-daughters, Linda Bender of Middletown and Kathleen Sperbeck Clark of Fulton; two step-sons, Kevin and Timothy Sperbeck of Fulton; grandchildren, Brittany, Charles, Colley, Aaron Elizabeth, Edmund, Timothy, Katlyn and Andrea; and five great-grandchildren.
A gathering was held Friday at Skeet and Bonnie Scoville’s home in Pulaski.
