The lower grades will focus more on activity rather than training for specific events. The upper grades will follow specific training that is event specific.
Each child will have the opportunity to try every event offered during the program. At the end of the six-week session, there will be a track meet for grades K–6.
Returning to coach is Andy Baldwin and coach Dylan. Baldwin is a student at Oswego State and has run track for quite a few years. He runs for the Oswego State track team and is an assistant track coach for the Fulton G. Ray Bodley High School.
Dylan, also an avid runner helped out last year and did so well we appointed him a “coach” title this year.
The summer track and field program will take place starting July 9 and continue through Aug. 17. There is a fee per person for the six weeks.
