Fulton Community Theatre will hold open auditions for the next production in its popular “An Evening on Broadway” cabaret series, which will spotlight the work of composer Stephen Sondheim.
Audition dates for “An Evening with Stephen” will be Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26 and 27 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the theatre’s home performance space, Jubilee Hall in Holy Trinity Church, 309 Buffalo St., Fulton.
Performance dates for the revue are Aug. 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19.
The production is under the direction of Kathy DeGolyer, with Abel Searor as musical director and accompanist.
The show will feature music from “Into the Woods,” “Sweeney Todd,” “West Side Story,” “Anyone Can
Whistle,” “Company,” “Follies,” “Sunday in the Park with George,” “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “Gypsy,” “A Little Night Music,” “Merrily We Roll Along,” and “Dick Tracy.”
Auditioners are asked to prepare a song and bring sheet music.
Originated in FCT’s 1994 season, the “An Evening on Broadway” series is one of the theatre’s longstanding traditions. The August production will be its 11th edition.
