Born in Little France Aug. 8, 1924 to his late parents, Ina (Weldon) and Glenn W. House, he was a graduate of Parish High School. He retired a supervisor for Bristol-Myers-Squibb Co., Syracuse, after 35 years.
He was a member of Phoenix United Methodist Church, Century Club at Bristol Labs, and an avid sports fan.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Winnie M. (Clark) House; his four children, Donna M. (Julius) Steiger of Nampa, ID, Susan J. (Gary) Allshouse of Pasadena, Md., Wendy A. (Bernie) Brzostek of Baldwinsville, and Chris A. (Mary) House of Baldwinsville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Verda Will of Camden; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services were held Tuesday in the Phoenix United Methodist Church. The Rev. Joseph I. Kim officiated. Burial was in Hillside Memorial Cemetery, Central Square.
