Oswego tops Fulton girls lacrosse in Class A championship

The Fulton girls varsity lacrosse team’s memorable season concluded with a loss to Oswego in Wednesday night’s Section III Class A championship game.

Oswego pulled away from The Lady Raiders during the second half en route to a 13-7 win. Fulton kept it close during the first half. Oswego led 6-4 at halftime.

During the second half, Oswego was more efficient on both sides of the ball. The Lady Bucs outscored the Lady Raiders by four goals to prevail with the six-goal win.

Leading the way for Oswego was Taylor Giglio, who had six goals. MiKayla Place added two goals and two assists and Becca Martin chipped in two goals.

Mackenzie Robinson had a goal and two assists while Sarah Stobener, Kaitlyn Armstrong, Libby Sherman and Alexa Healy combined to tally two goals and four assists for Oswego.
