Lulubelle Conibear, former Fulton resident

Lulubelle H. Conibear, 66,  of Gunstock Creek Road, Ellijay, Ga. died Friday, May 18, 2012.

She was retired and had worked in factories as a bus driver, a nurse’s aide, and as a licensed practical nurse.

She was born Aug. 28, 1945 in Palmyra, and had lived in Fulton, Ellijay, Ga., Abilene, Kan. and Gentry, Ark., before returning to Ellijay last fall. She was a lifetime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Morgan and Hazel Mae Emerson Conibear of Fulton, and all of her aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her friend and housemate, Linda L. Calkins; Linda’s son and daughter-in-law,  Jason and Wendy Porter of Calhoun, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Jolene and Jason Strack and sons of Sodus, Mich.; sisters, Carolyn Tessier of Ellijay and Vivian DuChaine of Bismark, Ark.; brother, Jimmy Conibear of Sinking Springs, Pa.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held today, May 26 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Pastor Leonard J. Tessier will officiate.
