The Fulton Veterans Council is planning several ceremonies for Memorial Day.
“May 28, the members of the Fulton Veterans Council will begin the Memorial Services in honor of those who sacrificed for our freedoms,” said William Shinnick, senior vice president of the Fulton Veterans Council.
All motorcade participants will meet at the former Nestle Parking Lot between 8:45 and 9 a.m. The motorcade will proceed to St. Mary’s Cemetery where a short service will be conducted by representatives of the PLAV.
The motorcade will then proceed to Mount Adnah Cemetery flag pole where ceremonies will be conducted by the Merton R. Kemp, Jr. Marine Corps League Detachment 651.
The next stop will be at the Veteran’s Park, located on South First Street, directly across from the Fulton Municipal Building.
