National evangelist Daniel Shayesteh to visit Fulton church

What in the world is happening in the Muslim world, how is it affecting America and what is the Christian response?

Dr. Daniel Shayesteh, an Iranian immigrant and director of the inter-denominational organization, “Exodus from Darkness,” is a national evangelist for the Christian and Missionary Alliance,

He will be speaking at Fulton Alliance Church May 18-20.

Shayesteh was deeply involved in the Iranian Fundamentalist Revolution in 1979 as a leading Muslim political leader and teacher of Islam. He was converted to Christianity after escaping to Turkey, having fallen out of favor with Khomeini’s political group.

Since the mid 1990s, Shayesteh has been speaking to thousands of people around the world. He now has a satellite television presentation, which reaches millions of Muslims in the world. He speaks openly and boldly about Christ and encourages those who hear him to do the same.

Friday, May 18 from 7 to 9 p.m., Shayesteh’s talk will be “What is Islam?” He will speak after the movie “Behind the Sun,” a true-to-life story of the conflicts that arise when a Muslim in the middle-eastern country becomes a Christian.

Saturday, May 19 at 7 p.m.,  Shayesteh will speak of the “Crisis in the Middle East and the American Response,” followed by a question and answer time.

Monday, May 21 worship at 10:30 a.m., Shayesteh will share his testimony, the story of God’s grace to an Iranian freedom fighter. His love for Muslims (not their religion) is a strong part of his story and the main emphasis of his current ministry as a Christian Evangelist.

Shayesteh has authored three books, which will be available for purchase. Throughout the weekend a love offering will be taken.
