Viola Souva, resided in Fulton

Viola G. (Hubbard) Souva, a resident of Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego, died May 6, 2012.

Born in Champion, N.Y. June 9, 1927 to the late Clinton and Charlotte (Brotherton) Hubbard, she lived most of her life in Fulton.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Norman, who died in September of 2001. She was also pre-deceased by one sister and four brothers.

She is survived by her six children, James (Patricia) of New Haven, Linda (Delbert) Stewart of Frederic, Mich.; Dennis of N. Syracuse; Thomas (Beatrice) of Oswego; Debra (Peter) Tierno of Gaylord, Mich.; and Lisa (Mark) Hoyt of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was employed in the past with Will Baumer Candle Company in Liverpool. She enjoyed being a foster-care mom and spending time with her family.

Calling hours and funeral services were held Thursday at Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiated.

Burial was held privately at Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal.
