The Oswego softball team erupted for five runs during the second half of its game against Fulton Saturday.
After two scoreless innings, Fulton took a 1-0 lead during the bottom of the third inning. However, Oswego soon took over. The Lady Bucs scored four runs during the top of the fifth inning to take a three-run lead at 4-1.
During the top of the sixth inning, Oswego added on another run, which put the finishing touches on the 5-1 win.
Leading the way for Oswego was Marguerite Dillon, who had two hits and two RBIs, including a home run.
Emily Kolenda, Sarah Mancuso, Cortnie Purce, Ashley Wapen and Allie Yule combined to tally five hits and 2 RBIs for Oswego.
