Quick start leads Westhill past Hannibal

Westhill got off to a quick start against the Hannibal varsity baseball team and never looked back when the teams met Saturday. Westhill scored three first inning runs, which set the tone for a 10-1 win over Hannibal.
Westhill wasted little time getting on the scoreboard. By the end of the first inning, they had a 3-0 lead over Hannibal. During the bottom of the third inning, Hannibal responded with a run to cut Westhill’s lead down to two at 3-1.
Westhill quickly answered Hannibal’s response. Westhill scored two more runs during the bottom of the third inning to increase its lead to 5-1.
