Unselfish play was the key in the Fulton boys lacrosse team’s win over Whitesboro Friday.
Six players scored for Fulton in the 12-6 win. The Raiders also tallied seven assists in the game.
Fulton didn’t waste any time making its presence felt on both sides of the ball. By the end of the first quarter, it had built a 4-1 lead over Whitesboro.
Both teams scored twice during the second quarter, which allowed Fulton to take a 6-3 lead into halftime.
During the third quarter, Whitesboro outscored Fulton by a goal to cut the lead to 8-6. However, Fulton quickly regained the assertive mentality that it displayed during the first quarter and crushed any hopes of a Whitesboro comeback.
