The Oswego County Legislature met the evening of April 12 and the agenda, although considered to be light, brought about some interesting debate, an audience outburst and some humorous moments.
The meeting was led by Legislator Art Ospelt, who serves as the legislature vice chairman due to the absence of Legislature Chairman Fred Beardsley. Legislator Jim Oldenburg was also absent.
For the first time in a long time, the minutes of the meeting were not approved. Instead they were tabled.
Legislator Amy Tresidder questioned the vagueness of a resolution from last month and asked if what was recorded is actually what happened.
Legislator Dan Chalifoux made a motion to table the approval of the minutes until next month.
