Rivers Edge Craft Show to be held in June

The Oswego Lions Club with host the first annual Rivers Edge Craft Show Sunday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will take place at 1830 Bridie Square in Oswego. Planning for the event are Lion Mike Henderson, Lion Chris Pelton, Lion Denise Constanza, sponsor Bill Galloway of Century 21-Galloway, and John Deary, vendor and promoter.

The event will take place at 1830 Bridie Square in Oswego. Hours for the craft show will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“As with our past fund-raising events, we are expecting capacity crowds and another successful event for our club,” said Steve Jurivich, Oswego Lions Club president. “We will have entertainment by the Cortini Brothers and Mike Shiel, the United States Coast Guard will present boating safety, Oswego Karate will be doing demonstrations and the Lions Club with be doing a bicycle helmet give away with fittings.”

Bounce Around Inflatable’s will also be available to keep the children busy.

The Lions Club is also working with “Pride of New York” to bring in New York State product vendors.

The funds raised from booth rentals will help support our efforts in serving individuals as well as organizations throughout our community.

“With your help and support, we can make this event a huge success that will allow us to fulfill our mission and continue to provide services needed most in our community,” said Denise, show chairperson.

Proceeds from past fund-raising events have helped to support Camp Hollis, Children’s Fund at Oswego Hospital, Oswego Salvation Army, The Elementary School Drug Free Program, the “H” and Mary Dowd scholarship fund as well as provide eyeglasses and hearing aids to individuals in need.
