East Syracuse-Minoa held on for a one-goal win against the Fulton girls varsity lacrosse team Wednesday.
East Syracuse-Minoa was a little more aggressive on the offensive end, taking four more shots on goal than Fulton did. The conversion of one of the additional shots proved to be the difference in ES-M’s 9-8 win over Fulton.
By the numbers, these were two evenly matched teams. East Syracuse-Minoa led by only one goal going into halftime.
During the second half, both teams scored five goals each, which allowed East Syracuse-Minoa to escape with the win.
