Timothy Cook, Phoenix graduate

Timothy Cook, 53, of Tampa, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at Life Path Hospice.

He was born March 8, 1958, the son of Patricia (Dight) Cook Rill and the late John J. Cook.

He was a 1976 graduate from Phoenix. He earned a degree in economics from SUNY Potsdam in 1980.

He spent 17 years at Newfane Lumber Co., Lockport; later management positions elswhere.  Besides his father, he is also predeceased by his step-father, Paul W. Rill in 2011.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Sharon; a daughter, Kelsey Patricia; a step-daughter, Brittany Ernst; two step-sons, William Ernst and Jeffrey Killian; five step-grandchildren; his mother, Patricia C. Rill of Baldwinsville; a brother, Jeffrey (Julie) Cook of Rhode Island; two sisters, Pamela C. Sivers of Baldwinsville and Prescilla C. (Tony) Bucci of Camillus; a half sister, Patricia (Tricia) (Rill) Jandrew (Richard) of Arizona; a step-brother, Douglas B. Rill (Georgianne) of Arizona; a step-sister, Geri Borg (Stephen) of Arizona; many nieces, and nephews; and a step-aunt, Rebecca Rill Walter (Richard) of Mapleview.

Services will be held Saturday April 21 at 3 p.m. in St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 902 Vine St., Liverpool. The Rev. Carrie Schoefield-Broadbent will officiated.

A calling hour will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. in the church prior to the service.

Burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St.

Contributions may be made to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, or the American Cancer Society. Notifications of donations to Patricia C. Rill.
