Fifth inning rally leads Homer past Hannibal baseball

The Hannibal varsity baseball team went into the fifth inning of its April 5 game against Homer with a two-run lead.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, Homer went on to score four runs during the fifth inning to seize control of the game.

Homer then added two more runs to bring the total to six unanswered runs en route to a 7-3 win over Hannibal.

The Warriors got on the board first. They took a 1-0 lead during the bottom of the second inning.

They added two more runs during the bottom of the third inning to make the score 3-0.
