Quickness expected to be key for Fulton girls lacrosse

by Rob Tetro

For the Fulton girls varsity lacrosse team to achieve its goals, it will have to develop into a more cohesive unit at a steady pace this season, according to assistant coach Andrew Karpinko.

If the lady Raiders can maintain a steady development, Fulton will aim to have a winning record and compete for a league title.

But the expectations do not end there. If the Lady Raiders can qualify for post-season play, they feel that they can accomplish a lot in sectional play.

According to Karpinko, the Lady Raiders will be an experienced team this season. The team consists of players who have been a part of the program for a long period of time.

Karpinko noted that contributions from the team’s younger players will be key this season.
