First off, I hope everyone has enjoyed their day off to take in all of the nice weather we have been having or maybe to catch up on that hour of sleep we lost this weekend.
Spring may not have sprung quite yet, but this weather is quite deceiving! You won’t hear too many people complaining, if anyone at all!
Those loving it the most are those spring sport members. Who couldn’t ask for a better way to start off the season? Good luck to anyone still trying out for a spot!
Recently voted on by the junior class was the theme of the prom. The winner was a “Red Carpet Affair.” The prom is set for Saturday May 12 at the Landmark Theater, a perfect place for a GRB “celebrities” to make an entrance!
Prom tickets will soon be on sale. If you haven’t set up a limo or hair/nail appointments yet, I’d suggest getting it done soon! The closer you get to prom, the more limited the selection and time slots!
NHS members seeing red? Yes, but they aren’t angry! At the February meeting of the National Honor Society, members got red wrist bands to wear.
These bracelets represent the good grades and high attendance members demonstrate. They also act in lieu of VIP passes, but have the same set of rules.
The next NHS meeting is March 26.
If you weren’t lucky enough to make it to a showing of “Damn Yankees” last weekend, you sure missed a good one!
After months of rehearsing and fund-raising, all of the cast and crews hard work paid off. You would have never believed there had been budget cuts with all of the great costumes and sets that were put together.
Congratulations to everyone who had a part in putting ‘Damn Yankees” together. We’ll miss you seniors!
