Obituary: Stephen Darby

Stephen Darby, 45, of Fulton, died March 3, 2012 at home after a long illness.

He was born in Syracuse. He previously lived in Cato and Oswego before moving to Fulton 12 years ago. He graduated from Morrisville College with an associate degree in Wood-Product Technology. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

He was the past owner and operator of Reliable Handeeman, Fulton, for eight years.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, and high school sweetheart, Rose M. Darby of Fulton; three children,  Christopher Darby of Fulton, Philip Darby of Colorado, and Breanna Darby of Fulton; his brother and sister in law,  Richard and Rose (Ranger) Darby of Sandy Creek; his grandson,  Trent Darby of Fulton; and nephew Tyler Darby of Sandy Creek.

Funeral services and burial will be private. Calling hours were held privately. Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton has care of the arrangements.
